The winery is open for visits on Thursdays & Fridays, between 11AM- 4PM

For Groups of more than 10 people we can arrange a special workshop on other days of the week, as well as setting up a group event.
Gideon Badt is an architect by profession with a passion for winemaking. Gideon studied winemaking and has been producing wines for more than a decade. The spirit of the house and the winery are a culmination of Gideon's artistic vision in both architecture and winemaking. His workshops and attitude are very much appreciated and reviews are mostly 5 stars(Google, Trip Advisor). Berenice Winery workshops allow our visitors to meet Gideon, taste our wines and get to know the process of making wine in Israel. In the workshop you will hear wonderful stories about the Princess Berenice, the Roman period in ancient Judea and the origin story of the Amsalem-Alhadef family. The tour to the winery cellar with its indicative basalt stone architecture will open your senses, a prefect place for a wine cellar in a renovated building from 1920's Tiberias.
